This grapefruit and Becherovka cocktail (coined Czech Fling) tastes like summer. An herbal blend with citrus notes, and sweetness from honey makes it so enjoyable. Becherovka is a Czech herbal bitters that stems from the Karlovy Vary region of the Czech Republic. Karlovy Vary is known for it’s healing springs, and it’s famous Becherovka can now also be found in select liquor stores in the United States. It’s a powerful digestive made from various herbs and spices.
Here is how you make the Czech Fling:

First, mix together honey and warm water to make honey water. Add the honey water to your cocktail shaker with ice. Add fresh squeeze grapefruit juice and Becherovka. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass with ice. Garnish with grapefruit rind.
